SurePeople’s platform provides the men’s basketball and the softball coaching staffs with real-time communication coaching tools, development solutions and analytics to elevate team communication, accelerate athlete development and improve talent evaluation analysis.

CHICAGO, IL – February 16, 2023 – SurePeople, a technology innovator dedicated to unlocking human potential, today announced its partnership with St. Joseph’s University. The partnership includes the use of SurePeople’s award-winning athlete development, communication and analytics platform by St. Joseph’s men’s basketball and women’s softball programs to maximize student athlete and team performance.

SurePeople’s platform is powered by a patented People Science OS, including Prism, a psychometric algorithm that provides comprehensive “portraits” of each coach and student athlete across 54 key traits and attributes in areas such as Personality, Personality Under Pressure, Decision Making, Motivation, Conflict Management and Fundamental Needs.

The combination of Prism insights and platform solutions, such as the Coaches Toolkit, empowers coaching staff to understand how to communicate with each student athlete to inspire their best game-ready mindset, as well as more effectively navigate relationship and team dynamics. At the same time, student athletes can increase their self-awareness and enhance Emotional, Relational and Team intelligence in all areas of their lives.

“We’re pleased to partner with the St. Joseph’s basketball and softball programs to elevate team communication and maximize the success of student athletes,” said Sean Flynn, SurePeople’s President, Sport & Education. “SurePeople is aligned with ‘The Hawk Will Never Die!’ ethos, which includes competing through the finish line, always striving to improve and being ever ready to help your teammates.”

Billy Lange, Men’s Basketball Head Coach, added: “SurePeople helps our entire program understand each other’s uniqueness better, in turn building better respect and communication. I often review and study the Prism portraits before meeting with our guys. I have found that this has led to much more productive conversations and has deepened the connections. My staff does a great job of helping me understand my own portrait as it relates to the members of the staff and team. It’s been a valuable resource.”

“This transformative platform has not only helped our entire coaching staff reach new heights in understanding each of our student athletes, it has played an integral role in enhancing our player-to-player relations and communication,” said Erin Brooks, Softball Head Coach.
