SurePeople’s platform provides Georgia coaching staff with real-time communication coaching tools, development solutions and analytics to elevate team communication, accelerate athlete development and improve talent evaluation analysis.

CHICAGO, IL – February 6, 2023 – SurePeople, a technology innovator dedicated to unlocking human potential, today announced its partnership with the University of Georgia Bulldogs Track and Field program. The partnership includes the use of SurePeople’s award-winning athlete development, communication and analytics platform to maximize student athlete and team performance.

SurePeople’s platform is powered by a patented People Science OS, including Prism, a psychometric algorithm that provides comprehensive “portraits” of each coach and student athlete across 54 key traits and attributes in areas such as Personality, Personality Under Pressure, Decision Making, Motivation, Conflict Management and Fundamental Needs.

Prism insights – in combination with platform solutions, such as the Coaches Toolkit – help coaching staff to know precisely how to communicate to get student athletes in their best game-ready mindset, based on how they are naturally “wired,” as well as navigate relationship and team dynamics more effectively. At the same time, student athletes are able to increase their self-awareness and enhance Emotional, Relational and Team intelligence in all areas of their lives.

“We’re pleased to offer the University of Georgia Track & Field program cutting-edge solutions that will improve one-on-one communication, build trust and maximize team performance under Track and Field Director Caryl Smith Gilbert,” said Sean Flynn, SurePeople’s President, Sport & Education. “This partnership demonstrates Georgia’s commitment to supporting student athletes’ growth and success – on and off the playing field,” Flynn added.

Coach Smith Gilbert added: “SurePeople helps our coaches gain a deeper understanding of what our student athletes need to perform at their best. This transformative solution allows us to improve communication and build stronger relationships. Our partnership supports Georgia’s commitment to achieving athletic and academic excellence.”

Smith Gilbert became the first female head coach of a men’s sports program in the history of University of Georgia Athletics, when she was named Director of Track and Field in June 2021. Most recently during her accomplished career, Smith Gilbert led the University of Southern California (USC) women to the 2018 and 2021 NCAA outdoor team championships and was the National Women’s Coach of the Year both of those title-winning seasons. Prior to USC, she was six-time Conference USA Coach of the Year at the University of Central Florida.
