SurePeople Technologies, Inc. acknowledges your privacy concerns and is committed to protecting them. This policy covers information collected through surepeople.com websites, mobile applications for iOS and Android, and the Prism psychometric assessment (collectively, the "Platform").
This policy applies whether you access the Platform personally or through an employer. Your use of the Platform authorizes SurePeople to collect and use information as described herein. Information submitted through the Platform, including Prism assessments, will be transmitted to customers (potentially your employer) and third parties.
Policy revisions are posted at www.surepeople.com/privacy. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of any changes.
Personal Information includes:
Personal Information excludes publicly available information or aggregated/deidentified data that cannot identify you individually.
Cookies: Small files placed on your device used to ensure functionality, guard against fraud, understand engagement, and advertise services. You can refuse cookies through browser settings, though some Platform features may become inaccessible.
Web Beacons: Small electronic files (clear gifs, pixel tags) that count page visitors, track email opens, and record content popularity.
Third-party content providers may use cookies, web beacons, and tracking technologies. SurePeople does not currently sell any Personal Information to any third party advertisers. SurePeople doesn't control third-party tracking. Opt-out information for targeted advertising is available in Section 6.

SurePeople may disclose information to comply with court orders, legal processes, government requests, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of SurePeople, customers, or others. Information exchanges may occur with other companies for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Set your browser or device to refuse cookies or alert you when they are sent. Settings vary by device; use the "help" function. Disabling cookies may make parts of the Platform inaccessible.
Choose whether the Mobile Application collects real-time location through your device's privacy settings. Blocking location may disable certain features.
To prevent promotional use of your contact information, email privacy@surepeople.com. Promotional emails include unsubscribe options. This doesn't apply to transactional information from purchases or registrations.
SurePeople uses Google Analytics for monitoring and improvement. Opt out without affecting site visits at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Review and change personal information by logging into your account profile. Email privacy@surepeople.com to request access, correction, or deletion of provided information.
Deletion may require account deletion. SurePeople may refuse changes that would violate law or cause inaccuracy. Deleted User Contributions may remain viewable in cached or archived pages or be copied and stored by others.
California residents may have additional rights. Visit oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa for details. California's "Shine the Light" law permits residents to request disclosure information. Email privacy@surepeople.com.
Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia have rights to:
Rights vary by state. Exercise your rights by emailing privacy@surepeople.com. Appeal decisions by emailing the same address.
Nevada: Residents may opt-out of personal information sales at privacy@surepeople.com. SurePeople doesn't currently sell triggering data.
Your Personal Information is processed and stored in the United States and may be transferred to service providers and affiliates elsewhere. Information may be processed outside your country of residence in jurisdictions without European Commission adequacy decisions.
EEA residents may request access, updates, deletion, correction, or processing restrictions. SurePeople processes information based on: (1) contract performance when you request services; (2) legitimate interests in Platform provision, enhancement, and protection; (3) lawful consent.
You may opt-out of direct marketing uses. Write privacy@surepeople.com with questions or requests. You have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
SurePeople implements reasonable, risk-based technical and organizational measures to protect information from loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All information is stored in secure cloud environments. Payment transactions are encrypted using SSL technology.
Your password security is your responsibility. Do not share passwords. Internet transmission is not completely secure. SurePeople is not responsible for circumvention of privacy settings or security measures by third parties unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The Platform is not intended for users under 16. No one under 16 may provide information or use the Platform. SurePeople does not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
Do not use the Platform, register, make purchases, or provide information if you are under 16. If SurePeople learns it has collected information from a child under 16, that information will be deleted. Contact privacy@surepeople.com if you have concerns. California residents under 16 may have additional collection and sale rights — see Section 8.
